Policies and Terms of Agreement

The following are Asteryx's Web Development and Hosting Terms of Agreement. If you have any questions we would be happy to discuss any of these items.

General

Asteryx reserves the right to change this agreement, services, and charges at anytime. In such an event that would materially impact Asteryx's clients, prior notification of 30 days will be given to Clients.

The projected hourly charges to develop and host the Client’s website are only an estimate. Actual charges may vary, depending upon, for example, the condition of the submitted materials, graphics work, additional work requests, the complexity of the website and the amount data being transmitted.

Asteryx will not accept liability for any loss or damage (including consequential loss or damage) however caused (whether by negligence or otherwise) which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly with respect to the service.

You acknowledge that websites cannot be guaranteed to be 100% error free in construction and/or 100% secure, and acknowledge that the existence of errors falling short of a complete failure of consideration in the site shall not constitute a reason to terminate this agreement.

Payment Terms

For initial website development services, Asteryx requires a deposit of 50% of the estimated website development charges prior to commencement of work. The remainder of the charges will be due upon delivery of the completed product.

The Client will receive invoices for any monthly fees or continued work and is expected to pay each invoice in full when due. If the Client does not provide payments on time (typically within 30 days) and if Asteryx provides prior notification, then Asteryx reserves the right to:
